"Pulsar" is a continuous ascent. A body in motion, a mind dissolving. Signals unfolding from the legacy roots of Detroit techno. It channels the deep, raw, and hypnotic essence shaped by pioneers but pushes it into a state of pure, ecstatic expansion.
At its core lies its origin: Dub. The mother of space, of echo, of depth. The hidden architecture behind the entire record. Every sound on Infinity carries this lineage - delays stretching into infinity, reverbs opening vast inner chambers, basslines breathing like living organisms. Dub is not referenced - it is embedded. It is the pulse beneath the pulse.
The journey begins in flow - subtle, liquid grooves emerging from noise, a low-end current pulling the listener inward. Patterns begin to vibrate, oscillating between analog warmth and metallic sharpness, as textures shimmer and evolve. There is a sense of pressure building, a slow ignition.
Then the structures start to melt. Boundaries blur. Synth lines bleed into each other, rhythms stretch and bend. What was solid becomes fluid. The album doesn't break - it transforms.
At its peak, it begins to explode - not in chaos, but in controlled release. Pulses hit harder, kicks deepen, frequencies expand beyond the physical. This is the moment of lift, of losing yourself completely on the floor.
From there, the system learns to breathe. Space opens. Air moves between the sounds. Dub echoes ripple outward, deep chords resonate like distant signals - introspective, yet still driving forward.
Elements start to merge - rhythm and atmosphere, machine and emotion, body and mind. The tracks are not separate entities but phases of one continuous motion, each dissolving into the next.
The energy coils and begins to spin - cyclical, hypnotic, infinite. Time becomes elastic. Repetition turns into transcendence.
And finally, everything starts to glow. Not as an ending, but as a state - radiant, elevated, unresolved. "Pulsar" doesn't conclude. It remains open, looping, alive.
Driven by analog hiss, deep bass architecture, and the unmistakable soul of Detroit's classic sound palette - all rooted in the boundless space of Dub - Infinity is both tribute and transformation: a record that doesn't just play, but moves through you.
