For the 9th release on Safeword Records, Berlin-based Matthieu P joins forces with Montpellier's VKn.modular. Two French artists, two cities, connected by a shared language and a mutual vision for raw, intentional electronic music.

The process is at the heart of the release: each artist built an original track before exporting their stems to the other, to be reworked in their own image. VKn.modular shaped his contributions through a modular synthesizer and drum machine setup, while Matthieu P leaned into plugin-based sampling and granular effects - two distinct approaches that, when pushed through each other's hands, produce something genuinely surprising.

The EP carves out hypnotic, groove-driven soundscapes - raw energy refined into something precise and irresistibly danceable.
